Premium timber plantation shutters crafted from lightweight, dimensionally stable basswood.
Hand-finished basswood plantation shutters are the sit-at-the-top option for Australian homes where the covering is as architectural as the window itself. Basswood holds its shape through Sydney summers without warping, and accepts paint finishes cleanly so louvres stay true-to-colour year after year.
We measure each opening to the millimetre, match stain or paint to trim, and fit shutters directly into the reveal so they sit flush with the architrave. Standard louvre sizes 63mm, 89mm and 114mm; hidden tilt rods available on request.
Inside-mount is the default for neat, recess-filling lines. Outside-mount frames are available for openings without sufficient reveal depth.

Questions
How long does it take from measure to install?
Standard blinds and shades run 14–21 days from your approved quote. Made-to-measure curtains and Roman blinds sit in the 28–35 day range. Plantation shutters, because they're built to the exact millimetre of your opening, take 4–6 weeks from measure.
We book the install appointment at the end of that window, not the beginning, so you're never waiting for the fitter once the product has arrived.
Do you service outside Sydney?
Our core service area is the Lower North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and the harbourside. We take Northern Beaches projects by appointment.
For sites outside Greater Sydney, get in touch — we can usually refer to a trusted partner if the project isn't a fit for us.
Can I return custom-made shutters if I change my mind?
Because every item is measured and built to your specific window, they can't be returned once the manufacturer has started cutting. The deposit becomes non-refundable at that point.
If there's a manufacturing defect or an install issue, that's on us and we'll remake or replace at no cost.
What's included in the in-home measure?
A designer visits your home at a time that suits you, measures each opening to the millimetre, reads the light across the day, and walks you through material samples at the window they'd be installed at. Most consults take about ninety minutes.
The measure is free and there's no obligation. If we proceed, the measurements feed directly into your quote — no double-handling.
Is GST included in your prices?
All prices shown on this site and in your quote are GST-inclusive unless noted otherwise. The tax invoice we issue itemises the GST component.
What warranty do you offer?
Manufacturer warranties range from 2 years on fabric components to 10 years on shutter frames and mechanisms. Our install work carries a 12-month workmanship warranty on top.

Is installation included in the quoted price?
Yes. Every quote we provide includes the measure, manufacture, delivery and installation by our own fitters (not contractors). Supply-only pricing is available on request for trade customers.
